With more power, more durability, an easier grip, and simpler maintenance, it's the best router we've ever made.  The new DR1 drywall router from RotoZip is a new generation of smaller faster and more durable drywall routers for professionals. It weighs only 2.8 lbs. and is 7.5" long. It is easy to hold and use, report RotoZip sources. It is 20 percent shorter than other models and has a smaller grip diameter for enhanced capability and control. Runs at 33,000 rpm, and its 6 amp of power delivers up to 45 percent higher speed under load than other models. Also features handy on-tool wrench storage, replaceable motor brushes, vents that keep dust away from operator’s eyes, an easy-view depth guide and a beefy break-resistant shaft lock pin.
