Hitachi Power Tools today announced the launch of its new line of Lithium Ion cordless products. Powered by HXP batteries from Hitachi, the Lithium Ion technology generates 3x the battery life of standard NiCd batteries. They are significantly lighter to reduce the overall weight of the tools they power. And HXP batteries are uniquely backwards compatible, meaning they will also work in Hitachi�s 18V DMR and DVF3 cordless tools for even more flexibility and value across the cordless line.
