Thesmaller bearing on the CMT Beading bits makes a delicate inset at thebase of the cut, giving you the advantage of an extra decorativeoption. Simply change the bearing on your round over bit to create abead profile.
BE SURE to keep the black bearing washer right sideup to correspond with the bearing rotation when reassembling thebearing. Improper reassembly can cause the bit to unscrew.
All CMT round over bits have a 12,7 mm bearing diameter with the exception ofthe radius 28,6 mm and 31,7 mm bits which have a 19 mm bearingdiameter. You have 13 different radii to choose from, the majorityhaving 5 shank diameter options. All bits are made of Fatigue Proofsteel and have carbide-tipped cutting edges.
Shop Tips:The CMT 1.6 mm radius round over bit is excellent for finishinglaminates. Virtually eliminates the filing required when usingconventional trim bits.
