- Web Designer/Content Management Systems (CMS) Operator

A well established, fast growing, professional power tool company seeks a Web Designer/Content Management Systems (CMS) Operator to help grow the online portion of the business. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in a fast paced Internet environment, and have a solid e-Commerce/Retail background.

Tasks Include:

Administer website content input, changes and updates using our Content Management System, including entering data via Excel spreadsheets.

Use HTML/CSS to create clean, standards-compliant web pages.

Create and optimize graphics.

Apply SEO best practices to web pages.

Help develop and update our social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and blogs.

Additional responsibilities with the organization are also possible based on the candidate’s experience.

This is not a programming job, but programming skills are a plus.

Experience / Skills / Abilities Required:
  • Manage multiple projects, negotiate workflow, and handle tight deadlines.
  • Expertise in HTML/CSS.
  • Expertise in software such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash, Excel, Word.
  • Expertise in Internet design issues (browser usability, cross-platform compatibility, color and quick loading of images, etc.)
  • Experience in JavaScript and Flash Action Scrip.
  • Experience in Volusion or other CMS.
  • Experience in usability and customer experience.
  • Experience in a retail environment a big plus.
  • Experience writing copy for products and/or service a big plus.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Self motivated with great attention to detail.

- Shipping Clerk

Ace Tool has an immediate opening for a Shipping Clerk. Candidate must have a stable background, and a minimum of 3 years shipping experience.

The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for preparing items for shipment and keeping a record of incoming and outgoing shipments. Duties of the Shipping clerk will include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

Essential Functions:

Must be familiar with LTL, USPS, UPS Ground and FedEx shipping

Examine contents and compare with records, such as invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.

Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.

Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.

Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.

Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.

Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.

Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.

Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand truck or sorting bins.

Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using devices such as hand tools, power tools, and postage meter.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years shipping experience
  • Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Experience with online databases and how to enter and pull the appropriate information.

- Tool Mechanic

We are seeking for immediate hire gas, electrical, pneumatic, and impulse tool mechanics. Candidates should reply if you meet the qualification listed below:
  • Machine shop tool skills: (drills, saws, welding tool, generator, compressors, etc.)
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Flexible to changing demands and priorities
  • Able to work in an organized fashion
  • Team player attitude
  • Maintain and repair tools daily
  • Maintain a clean environment
  • Have problem solving skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Perform mechanical,electrical,gas,pneumatic repairs
  • Knowledge in obtaining and reading schematics
  • Must be reliable, flexible, detailed. Able to multi-task and able to meet deadlines
